An unsolicited testimonial

In September of 2000 my then 5 year old QH mare HoneyBunny was diagnosed with navicular disease. I had owned her since she was a weanling and it was a heartbreaking diagnosis because not only was she super athletic and beautiful but bred really well and my absolute dreamhorse. What followed was years of trying to find a way to help her. We saw three different vets, we tried the conventional approach, acupuncture, all kinds of mineral and feed supplements from all over the world, and even homeopathy.

In the end I was told to lock her in a stall for six months and just hope that this would help. I refused to do that and with a heavy heart finally accepted that she was going to be out in the pasture for the rest of her life. Over the years I was able to manage her with bute to keep her fairly comfortable, however, when the ground got really hard in winter or during dry summer months, she was very sore. Last year her other (healthy) foot started to go as well and for the first time my husband and I discussed the option of letting her go.

When Gary came to our house and started to hook her up to his machine, he said, oh, you'll ride her again. I hate to say it, but I didn't believe it. I thought, she was too bad, she had been lame for too long, too many vets had told me there was nothing more we could do. I didn't want to get my hopes up and then be crushed again. After the second treatment I thought I saw a difference in the way she moved, her stride seemed a bit longer and softer, but I didn't know if that was just wishful thinking or the snow we had gotten overnight.

The breakthrough came during the fourth treatment. Before that, she had been licking her lips a lot during the treatments but that was it. However, during the fourth treatment, about halfway through, the most interesting thing happened. All of a sudden, she lowered her head, started to move it from side to side, her eyes rolled all the way up into her head, and she gave these jaw cracking yawns, mouth wide wide open, it went on for about two or three minutes, and then she gave this really big heavy sigh, her head sank down and she licked her lips again. I was dumbfounded. I had felt to me as if years and years of tension and pain had leaked out of her. That night I was up quite a bit, thinking about what had happened.

The next morning I had a new horse. Usually the one that was left standing out in the far field when the others came in, just too sore to manage the long trek to the barn, she was the first one to greet me in the morning. She bounced around like a silly three year old and her stride was fluid and free. None of those choppy sewing machine strides anymore. But what was most amazing was her happiness! Here was my horse again, eyes sparkling with mischief, head high, right in the middle of everything. It was just totally amazing. Gary came out again and suggested treating her shoulders next and then follow up with two or three more hoof treatments. He said, she's almost there where you can ride her. And this time I did believe him!

Thank you so much, Gary, for inventing this machine! On one of the testimonials someone had said, it should be called Life Saver instead of Leg Saver. I could not agree more! Your machine for sure has saved my little pony's life! I treated her shoulders today and will email you an update after the next three hoof treatments! Thanks again and also thank you for being so available to answer any questions and come out to teach me doing the different treatments!

Sincerely,
