Dr. Heather Mack's testimonial on the Leg Saver

I have been using micro current therapy for 15 years on various soft tissue injuries in my Equine Sports Medicine practice. I travel from Calgary to West Palm Beach Florida treating predominantly show jumpers and dressage horses. The units I used before I discovered the Leg Saver were bulky and time consuming...Gary has definitely come up with a better mouse trap! This unit is small, fits nicely on the horse and can be working while the horse rests in his stall or even while trailering...it does not require a person to stand and attend to the treatment, once it is set up, you can do something else.

Better yet...this unit allows one to treat not only an injured area but also the acupuncture meridian(S) that affects the injured part. So...it allows healing on a much deeper level. I have remarkable success using the leg saver on Poll and TMJ pain, suspensory desmitis, tendons, to heal up lascerations, osteo arthritic hocks, ankles and knees, trochanteric bursitis(often called Whorl bone Syndrome), sacro-illiac discomfort, sore backs, necks, shoulder, withers, to strengthen the immune system, and to heal foot abscesses as well as increase circulation and vital life force to poor feet in general. This is just the list off the top of my head, there is so much room for creativity in using the leg saver.

I think it is an asset to any horse operation to have a leg saver...there WILL be many times that you will find use for it...I use it on myself frequently..that is why I know it works so very well!

Sincerely, Dr. Heather Mack

Maude and EquiStim Legsaver

In the spring of 2008, Gary came to my barn in Idaho to show me how to use the Equi-Stim Legsaver, a portable microcurrent device calibrated for horses. Before he arrived, he asked me to try and gather at least 40 horses to work on.

I called all my friends and neighbors and trailers were arriving for four days. After treating nearly everything on four legs and two, we had some time and I told Gary about an older, gray Percheron mare. She was suffering from melanoma and had progressed to the stage where they were abscessing. Her veterinarian and I had been treating a particularly nasty one on her lower lip with antibiotics for six weeks with no noticeable improvement. The infection had gone systemic and since the mare was 26 the decision had been made to euthanise. When I first brought her in to the barn, Gary was skeptical that we could do anything for her. She was pretty miserable and the vet had given up hope and we were scheduling the backhoe. The wound was the size of a quarter, with greenish drainage.

If you know Gary at all though, he has difficulty suppressing his optimism and we hooked old Maude up anyway. Initially, we just placed electrode pads on either side of the abscess and turned the current dials to a comfortable level. She was standing in the cross ties in the aisle of my barn and immediately started draining onto the floor from her mouth, hanging her head inches from the floor. I placed a black rubber feed tub under her to catch the drainage. We also then placed a copper coupling with electrodes attached to the tip of her tail that connected to another electrode between her eyes, effectively flooding her entire system with a very low level of MCT.

After a couple of hours, we turned her back out with the herd and that night she seemed more comfortable eating. The next day we drove to another ranch to treat more horses. The following morning, after talking about how else we could help Maude, using meridian therapies, I went out to fetch her. When I got close to the barn with her, I told Gary he had better sit down. I’m sure he thought that Maude had expired during the night, but in fact her wound had closed and was now the size of the end of my pinky, with a reddish scab. She no longer had an elevated temperature and the melanoma under her lip was greatly reduced! Gary was as surprised as I was and Maude’s owner was in tears. The veterinarian felt the antibiotics had finally kicked in….

Maude has since developed abscesses in her melanomas in various areas, once again in her lip and I have treated them with solely microcurrent using both localized cross-current therapy and systemic immune system meridian therapy, using Gary’s EquiStim Legsaver. Nearly three years later, she continues to live in the retirement herd and is healthier than any of us have ever expected, considering her age and melanomas. Many of her melanomas have reduced in size and have stopped breaking through.

I own and operate an equine rehabilitation and retirement facility in Central Idaho, treating injured equine athlete’s with microcurrent to great and lasting results and the EquiStim Legsaver is at the very foundation of my therapy. Gary is very supportive and knowledgeable and is always there when needed and is constantly adding to the list of ailments treatable with microcurrent. Any one who has horses or is in the equine business must avail themselves of this superior and highly effective therapy. It is non-invasive, non-toxic and promotes general health and performance like nothing else. Most horses find it extremely pleasurable to receive the relief it offers. There have been times when a horse has come into my barn with no known injury, but obviously uncomfortable and unhappy and after a few applications of microcurrent therapy, applied generally, emerged relaxed and cheerful. If MCT could work so well on an older, compromised mare like old Maude, just imagine what it could do for your horse!

Also, thank you Gary, for your unstoppable enthusiasm and boundless curiosity in finding new ways to heal and make a better world for horse and human.

Hollywood our Black Quarter Horse Mare

Hollywood is now10 years old. I purchased her at age 4. I trained Holly to ride and started her in cutting.

The winter of 2008 Holly fell when out in the pasture. We found her down and unable to get up at night feeding. She was dead lame having injured her right back hock. The vet that came to see her suspected a broken leg so ex-rays were taken the next morning. The leg was not broken. The mare could not put any weight on it and the hock was 3 times the normal size.

A hock infection was suspected by still another vet and many needles were plunged into the hock to get a sample to test. Only blood came. No fluid could be found. The vet recommended a hospital at this point telling us this injury needed more than normal vet care could provide. Four days had past since the injury.

Holly was shipped to Ohio State University. After a series of tests it was determined that a large blood clot was present, torn ligaments were present, but no infection. This was a huge relief as the vet prepared us by telling us that if it was a joint infection there was not much hope of permanent healing as the standard flushing surgery was rarely successful.

A joint infection meant permanent lameness, often ongoing complications, and thus it was best to put the horse down at that point. Our relief that the joint was not infected was beyond words. We could not think about putting this mare down. I had owned and ridden her for five years and was very attached to her.

We returned to Hunting Valley Stables where Holly was boarded. By the second day we realized the injured hock was getting worse and not better. We knew something was very wrong. The heat coming out of it could be felt with your hand held a couple inches away and it was blown up 3 times the normal size again. At that time Jamie Babbs was operating Tender Care Therapy at Hunting Valley. She was treating legs of race horses, both standardbreds and thoroughbreds.

Hollywood was diagnosed as having a full blown hock infection and we opted to have Jamie treat her aggressively with the Equi-stim Leg Saver. After talking to two very good vetinarians about the grim end that a hock infection led too we talked at length with Jamie and decided to try the Equi-stim Leg Saver System. Jamie took over Hollywoods care and treated Holly every day for a month.

Another month of treatment followed and results began to really show. Holly could start putting weight on her leg. The infection surfaced, blew out, and began to clear up and heal nicely. By the third month Holly was trotting without much of a gimp. By the summer Hollywood was galloping and doing sliding stops out in the pasture. The treatment was successful and Holly is our proof.

Today Hollywood lives at our house. When she became sound enough to breed we decided to breed her to Indian Art Beat and we are presently waiting for her baby to arrive. It is so good to see her happy, healthy, and sound on that leg. At a walk, trot, and canter she enjoys her life today thanks to Jamie’s hard work and the Equi-stim Leg Saver. Equi-stim Leg Saver was the best choice of treatment for Hollywood. We have no doubt about that.

Hi, this is Jamie Babb owner and operator of Tender Care Therapy. I have been repairing horses with the Equi-Stim Legsaver for the last 8 years. The rewards and results have been nothing less than miraculous.

I stopped counting after 2000 horses.

There have been so many very memorable cases, but "Holly" has a special place in my heart. I was very grateful for the opportunity to heal her. I saw her the day she came to the farm on 3 legs. When Joan asked me about the Equi-stim Legsaver I did my best to explain how it would help.

Joan, a very fine young horsewoman agreed to let me treat her mare. I had successfully treated several bone/joint infections, but nothing like what "Holly" had.

I started the following day aggressively treating with the Equi-Stim Legsaver, 4 large pads on the huge hock. It was at least three times the normal size, pulsing and hot. It was screaming for relief.

"Holly" was hooked up 7 days a week and either cold water hosed for 15-30 minutes or iced for half hour to an hour. Within one week she was able to start putting weight on it.

By the second week 3-4 lesions started busting out and draining. Yeah!

At this time I started using Neosporin on the pads in stead of gel, I was also putting a penicillin (GO DRY)cream into the open lesions. The icing was continued throughout the process. Holly was now able to be walked, still limping but moving.

Soon those lesions healed and 2-3 more popped up. I kept in very close contact with Gary during this. I was very tempted to start her on a broad spectrum antibiotic, Gary disagreed so I didn't just kept plugging away (Ha Ha).

After the first 6wks I knew we were on our way to full recovery thanks to the Equi-Stim Legsaver. There were a few days when I got discouraged, but my faith and past results with the Equi-Stim kept us moving forward.

After 2 months "Holly" was able to be turned out in the indoor arena. She was very happy.

Spring was near and Joan would take "Holly" out and graze her. Grass is healing for the mind, body and spirit. Eventually we were able to just turn her loose on the 100acre farm. "Holly was in "Heaven" on earth.

Small lesions would appear, but the Equi-Stim Legsaver just kept pulling the infection from deep in the largest joint in the horse, the hock. How amazing!

I can't begin to explain the joy in watching this dear mare's recovery. Her registered name is "Hollywood" I have put in my two choices for the foals name #1 "Holly Hock" #2 Natalie Wood. We'll see what Joan decides on, I'm just grateful there will be that decision.

I gladly welcome any questions on this treatment. I am so grateful for the Equi-Stim LegSaver supplying me with a rewarding and successful business.

Praise "God" Gary and Equi-Stim Legsaver.

Blessings and Love to all , Jamie J Babb

Re: Amazing Results on My 32 Year Old Paint, Mico

Dear Mr. Crisci:

Thank you for saving my horse’s life. I wanted an older, safe horse, so I purchased Mico, a 25 year old, tri-colored Paint with lots of personality. I am a very timid rider so our rides were very light. However, light, Mico kept coming up lame and seemed depressed and lethargic. I hauled him to the equine hospital for x-rays, which determined I owned a very crippled horse. The local vet was continually draining his hocks and recommended Bute twice a day. His condition was gradually worsening. I was told it would be better if I put him down. The very thought of losing my friend was too hard to bear. I made the decision to retire him and began my search for ways to relieve his pain.

I was reluctant when I heard about the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® system but was willing to try it. It has made a world of difference for Mico, truly a miracle. I don’t understand how it works but I do know that it does. After 2 treatments, Mico began to perk up. He seemed eager to return to work.

I was truly convinced that the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® treatments were working when I watched him find a soft spot in the turn out and how he gently lowered himself to the ground and rolled with such contentment and how he shook himself off and gave a little buck and trotted off. It still makes me tear up. He hadn’t rolled in about 2 years. I’m sure it was difficult and painful for him to lie down. He was not a happy camper before the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®. His hocks no longer need to be drained and he is just plain happy. Although Mico is now completely retired, I continue an occasional treatment just to keep him tuned up. Mico knickers every time he sees you Mark so I know he likes the system.

Again, thank you for saving my friend, Mico.

Margarita Diaz

Below is Mr. Crisci's examination and treatment approach for Mico:

Upon first visual examination , the fluid retention in his hocks was self evident with a noticeable sway to his top line (but being +/- twenty-nine years old this was allowable). With hand manipulation I noticed his back, Semitendinosus muscle (equivalent to our hamstring) was sensitive, and the bursa area in the hip region was sensitive as well. I conferred with you and we came to agreement that that "root" cause of Mico's problem was a pattern of chronic pain in his back causing him to roll his hip (causing excessive sway back) to help reduce the pain he was feeling (just as any of us would walk when we hurt our backs!).

Now , you have to remember that the vet was sure his cannon bone was shot and that his day were indeed numbered. Mico didn't have excessive warmth in the cannon bone area, but his hocks were extremely loaded with fluid- that didn't make sense. You pointed out that the rotation of the back causes the ability of the horse to reach out with their rear legs to decrease. Thereby "driving" the legs into the ground, prematurely, causing a percussive force directed up the legs. The hocks taking the brunt of the impact - thereby causing the swelling.

This is the treatment protocol I used for Mico:

  1. Utilizing Equi-Stimlegsaver, I treated Mico's back, Sacroilliac, Hip, and Hocks
  2. I treated the Ting point that are associated with these areas as described in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) protocols for horses.
  3. 1/2 walks after each treatment.
  4. Mico was not allowed to go beyond a walk for two weeks. He was walked along side mounds of dirt the pasture to help unlock his back. In essence, I was retraining his movement. He had developed bad habits due to his prolonged (years) dealings with pain. When I first met Mico, he could not take three steps into a canter or trot without breaking down from the pain he was enduring. And we all know of a horses high tolerance to pain. Gradually Mico was allowed to walk faster and faster, and then a few steps into a trot. You should have seen him throwing his head like a young colt and no breakdown! Mico has made and incredible recovery with additional nutritional supplements and "tune-up" treatments. He even stops from a full gallop with both rear legs engaging the dirt - like a reiners stop (no gradual tip toe stop). Something I didn't even expect.

Mico is now thirty -two years old and going strong.

I met Gary Desroche back in 2001 when I was called out to massage a severely founder quarter horse stallion and a badly injured mare. These were both very challenging cases and I knew right away that I did not have the tools or the skills to help these horses get better. I had heard about Gary and the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® so I called him up and was pleased when he said he would be out the next day to see these two horses. He brought out the leg saver and when I saw the stallion immediately relaxing and lowering his head after Gary set the unit up on his feet, I knew there was something special about this machine. It was a truly heart felt experience when I massaged this stallion (while being treated with the leg saver) as the horse literally talked to me releasing pain and tension every other breath. I spent a good deal of time with Gary back then and learned a lot. Within a short period of time I had purchased a leg saver of my own and I got busy learning the different protocols Gary had developed for different lameness and other health related problems. My own horse benefited tremendously and always looked forward to having the treatments.

There have been other experiences I have had along the way but one of the most memorable was dealing with an outbreak of strangles at a facility where my own horse was boarded. I had concern of course that my horse was going to pick it up as it was spreading fast. I called Gary and told him my horse seemed fine otherwise and asked him to advise me if he knew of any thing I could do as a preventive for my horse.  He suggested treating various ting points with the leg saver. Gary mentioned he had a client in South Africa who had dealt with a serious virus in two of their horses and had success with the leg saver and said it was worth a try. First thing the next day I went out to the barn to do the treatment not expecting to see my horse symptomatic of strangles. Well, was I in for a big surprise! His stall walls had evidence of thick mucous spattered across it in a few places and his nose was now stuffed up. It was obvious he had come down with the strangles. I did the treatment as Gary recommended and my horse responded nicely this day. His energy was low to go but he did pick up after awhile. A bigger surprise that I got the next day was that he was better! The snots were gone! I continued to use the leg saver on him a couple of more times and my horse sailed through the rest of the quarantine no problem.

I have continued to use the leg saver throughout the years. The more I learn about micro-current frequencies and other natural modalities for healing the more fascinated I have become. I have a strong belief that the best preventive for any dis-ease in the body is a strong immune system. I have not used any chemicals on or in my horse for many years now and it is apparent that by providing natural resources for a horse (in the domesticated environment we provide for them) that this is their best defense to ensure good health and longevity.

I have been using the Leg Saver for a little over 2 years now. I became interested in the machine when I realized I could not use bute or banamine on my cutting horse due to a kidney problem. Medication was not an option so I began looking for alternatives for body soreness. The first treatment my husband and I noticed vessel dialation in the hind legs and when I showed him later that day I marked a 76 (very high mark) and won the class. I was hooked. I started treating friends horses and now have a small business that I love. I have treated everything from body soreness, navicular, torn hamstrings, epm, open wounds, radial nerve injury, cysts on stifles, suspensory injuries, tying up, just to name a few. I love my Leg Saver and so do my clients.

Hi Gary,

Glad to hear that you are having some help with this great product of yours. This last year with a lot of new horses coming into my program it saved my clients and horses a lot of pain from colic and wallets. Also my mare the seems to want to founder when pregnant lived on it for about 3 months and had a very healthy colt and she rotated all so slight. Believe me she could not walk on all 4's. My farrier and vet I was going to loose her and the baby. Another won case by the Leg-Saver. As for the other show horses they love it when they see me strap on the harness. Their lips go a licking! Thanks again for such an easy product to use.

To Gary,

I am a great fan of your Leg Saver. My name is Vickie Montgomery. I am a jumper trainer and have a daughter who is working her way up to the Grand Prix level in the Jumper world. This requires a program making the horse number #1 and a keen eye to keep the horses fit, strong and competitive.

The circuit is 11 months long traveling up and down the highways. I have had great success in shipping my top horses with the Leg Saver on, while traveling down these roads. It is the only way I know to keep the muscle fit unless you want to use drugs, which I do not do.( I find drugs weaken the immune system which creates a whole other layer of problems). Many times are shows are 8-9 hours away which is a long time for the horses to stand in one place and not become stiff and sore. They all come off the van ready to work!

I also use the Leg Saver during the show when I start to see any muscle soreness. I would recommend this product to anyone who is serious about keeping the horse #1 in their program as I do in mine. Without the horse you have to ask WHY are we doing this sport! It has to be all about them FIRST.

Gary has made the use of the Leg Saver very easy to use and follow with the treatments he has designed.

Thanks Gary for making a great product. I feel everyone should have a Leg Saver in their tool box for so many reasons. I know I could not live without the Leg Saver

Many thanks again,

Dear Gary:

Just wanted to tell you and others how delighted I am to own an EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®. I purchased mine last September. My good 12-year-old barrel horse mare was suffering from a swollen hind ankle that just wouldn't go away. I'd think I'd have it down, but, after making a run, she would immediately rest that ankle by standing hip shot and the next day, the swelling was back. Then, she had "bonked" the front of that hind ankle apparently on a rock which compounded the problem. She was lame for several weeks. My vets weren't much help. X-rays didn't show anything. I was told her injury was "job and age related" and that I needed to start taking very good care of her. I was a little miffed as I always take very good care of her. I had no answers to my questions. I did furasone/DMSO sweats, epsom salts/ice water whirlpool boots therapy and linament massages--all to no avail. Looking on the internet for some useful information that might help me, I found the Leg-Saver. Although I initially balked at the price, I decided to give it a try because I liked what I had read about it, and, it had a 30 day money back guarantee. I figured I couldn't go wrong with it.

When the Leg-Saver arrived, I panicked that I wouldn't be able to use it correctly. But the wonderful video and explicit instructions made using the Leg-Saver very easy.

I soon found with my mare that I had merely been treating the symptoms and not the problem. When I treated her for whirlbone, bursa soreness, the swelling immediately left her hind leg. She was able to finish out the barrel racing season and ended up tied for first in the open division.

I've also been using the Leg-Saver on my other barrel horses. People have been commenting to me about how well my horses are running. I credit the Leg-Saver. My horses like to see me coming with the Leg-Saver. They know they are going to feel good shortly!

I also want to mention that I was a big user of Bute. Since purchasing the Leg-Saver, I have not bought one tube of Bute. That is an incredible savings, too.

I highly recommend the Leg-Saver. It has been a blessing to me and my barrel horses.

Thanks, Gary.

My horse foundered and had EPM. I treated the founder immediately in the traditional way with stopping grain, getting the vet out, and padding his feet. I then purchased the leg saver and started treating his front feet as often as possible, every day average. He did not have rotation of the coffin bone, but did end up with abscesses out the bottom of both feet about 3 months out. Those healed, the epm was treated medically, and I'm happy to report that he is back in the show ring, winning. He does Quarter Horse Hunter under saddle, so any lameness would disqualify him, so he's REALLY completely sound. I'm now using the leg saver on the same horse on a hind fetlock that he sprained while goofing off on the longe line, and after a week of treating as often as possible (I missed 2 days out of seven, iced twice daily without fail) he's off bute and trying to hurt it again!! Bouncing around on the longe line.... I really think the leg saver played a large role in the recovery of the founder and am really glad I purchased it. It feels good to be able to help the horse even before the vet arrives, and after.

Dear Gary,

Well it's been almost a year since I got my "Leg Saver"When I first heard about it I wrote you saying" it sounded too good to be true "Every thing you said about it was true and then some. It's so hard to explain what a remarkable system this is, the best way is, to use it and find out for yourself. Having been in the horse industry for almost 40 years, I was skeptical, but every day I am so thankful that I contacted you and have a Leg Saver. I have treated well over 100 horses successfully. Everything from a slab fracture of an accessory carpal bone to a horse so tied-up that he was dead lame. I am starting to think that there isn't anything that I (LegSaver) can't fix. I would welcome any questions from any prospective customers. My assistant has been a 13 year old girl, she has been a great help with the hooking up and goes with me to look at new horses. Also my main customers have been Amish horses, like I said well over 100. We have very happy horses and owners. They were very skeptical, but the proof is in the return of they're sound, happy, horses. When I get one that I can't fix I'll be sure to let you know, but don't look for that letter any way soon. I must go and unhook three right now and let them out for a while. I just wanted to say Thank-you so much...
Sincerely

Hello,

My name is Miki van der Merwe. I run a small showjumping yard of 35 horses and I use to work ride for one of the more prominent showjumping yards in South Africa.

My only regret about purchasing the Equi-stim Legsaver is that I didn’t own one sooner and that the product was not available 8 years ago. If I think of all the great horses I have owned and known that had to be retired or put down or died that the legsaver could have treated and maintained successfully.

I have owned the legsaver for two months and being in the showjumping world I have had to deal with a lot of sceptics – coaches and vets! To the day every treatment I have done has astonished owners and the vets. Some treatments have had to be more extensive than others but every horse I have treated was because the vets couldn’t help or there treatments didn’t really show any improvements right down to founders, ringbone, kissing spine and the dreaded high suspensory injuries.

Everything Gary and his team claims the legsaver does – it does!

The after sales service is great – not one question that I have had, and there has been plenty was not answered immediately and effectively.

I am working hard, “so many horses, so little time” but the rewards are immense – happy horses. The one mare I was asked to treat looked like she wanted to eat me alive when I got close to her the first time. After three treatments she is actually rather sweet now to anybody who approaches her stable. The one problem I do have is that my phone won’t stop ringing from happy owners who just wants to thank you once again because their horse still feels great.

Now if I could just get enough time to treat my own horses!

I have never been so satisfied with any product I have bought except maybe my horses – now that I have the legsaver.

Miki

Dear Gary,

We are so pleased with the results achieved from the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® !!! After only a few treatments our severely foundered stallion is now running & playing in the field – a sight I was sure we would never see again !!

“Classic” had foundered for the first time about 15 yrs ago & has had many re-lapses in the last few years. He could hardly get around anymore & the pain was getting hard to manage for him. Several Veterinarians & Farriers had completely given up on him & it was by some great stroke of fate that you came to our farm !! Our stallion is now happy, healthy & looking forward to many more years with a quality of life we never would have dreamed of !

We sincerely feel you need to change the name of the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® to the Equi-Stim LIFE Saver !!!!

Thank you so much for developing this remarkable product !!

We were having Gary DesRoches treat our horses for body soreness and other ailments with the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® and paying him for his services. We were having such success with our horses after treatments we decided to purchase one.

Some of our documented success.

BIG SHOT FRANCO N
We had Gary treat her for Tying-up and a very sore Trochanteric Bursa. Franco raced just great after we eliminated her back end soreness. She had won 4 races and accumulated $16,000 in earnings. That is a very nice profit.

BRADNER NOTABLE
He had much the same problems as Franco N so he was treated for the back end soreness. He went on to win 6 races from $4000 to $10,000. In 5 months he earned us $20,000.00. We claimed him for $4000 and lost him for $10,000. He just loved the LEG SAVER.

DAL REO DAMSEL
Damsel is our stake horse she has made $140,000 up to her 3-year-old year. We have had to treat her for rear end soreness as the other two horses. We also had to work on her front suspensories to keep her sound and performing at her best. It is important to point out that we work on her rear end it really helps to keep her sound on her front legs.

We basically use the LEG SAVER every day to keep our horses performing at their best.

We have found that the LEG SAVER is great at treating suspensories, tendons, fetlocks, knees, hocks, fetlocks, lung bleeding and muscle soreness.

As far as we are concerned the purchase of the LEG SAVER was a no-brainer, it works and pays for its self in no time. It is very effective in treating the common problems that the athletic horse sustains. None of the above would have been possible without the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®.

We have been using the Leg Saver's eppligottic/entrapment treatment on horses who have historically made terrible breathing noises and who now train and race successfully without making any strange noises at all. I use it just as it's shown in the manual -- it's easy and it works.

The Leg Saver is an integral part of my barn, I use it daily on check ligaments, sore muscles, hocks and whorlbone/bursas. It's also great for tying up and bleeding (EIPH) and as an adjunct for immune system boosting. I think it has helped our horses tremendously and highly recommend the Leg Saver to everyone.

We use the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER® exclusively in our barn every day. We have 3 machines to maintain our entire stable of horses.

We use it for Lungs, Hoofs, Tendons, Ligaments, and muscle soreness (Tying-up & Bursa). I will share a few examples what the LEG SAVER has done for us.

We had a horse called Spartacus LMN a standard bred horse who was my wife’s pet. He had bowed several times and we tried bring him back to the races but were have no luck, as we could not keep him sound enough to qualify him. The Vet. suggested that we retire him as his tendons were too damaged to continue training.

Gary DesRoches came by one day and offered to repair Sparky’s legs with a new multi-wave current system called the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®. He started to treat the tendons and in a couple of weeks we were able to train him down to a reasonable qualifying time. The legs and tendons were holding up remarkable well in fact they improved with treating & racing. We raced him another 4 years and won another 25 races. Sparky is now retired to the breeding barn.

Our next horse was Jolly Nukes. He had one ankle that was as big as a milk bottle. It had everything wrong with it. We tried swimming him but could not get it sound. We used the LEG SAVER in for one week. The ankle become completely sound and we won 4 or 5 in a row until someone claimed for much more than we claimed him for.

The final horse is another pet of the family. Mornas Big Boy was in the family for 2-1/2 years and my wife’s favourite horse. We had lost Mornas about a month previously and he broke him down in a race. He had a dropped suspensory. His fetlock was almost on the ground. In October 2001 I phone Gary in Vancouver as I was racing in Edmonton and asked him to treat Mornas leg just so he could walk around without much pain. Gary treated him every day for about a month until I returned to Fraser Downs. When I returned Mornas was walking around remarkably well. My wife and I continued to treat him with amazing results. We were able to jog him in Dec. raced him in March. Mornas has won 17 races & over $40,000.00 in 2002. This would have been possible if it was not for the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®.

We recommend anyone needing to keep their horses’ sound and performing at peak performance, to try the EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER®. It will be the best investment you can make for the maintenance and repair of all your horses. The LEG SAVER will make and save you money.

Dear Gary,

When three vets were of the opinion my 10 year old jumper should be put down because of a cronic tendosinitis i started looking for alternate possibilities. i came upon the legsaver online, descided it was worth a try, flew out to canada to see it in use (from switzerland) and was pretty amazed with the results it achieved on the racehorses in vancouver. i was even more amazed when my horse made a startling recovery after only 2 weeks of regular use, now we're back to work and jumping at shows almost weekly in the summer. to keep her fit, i sometimes use the legsaver on her after hard work, or if her leg swells up at all, but she didn't miss a day of training since. since then, i've also used the legsaver on friends horses for arthritis, strained ligaments and stomach ulcers, all were really happy with the results. the legsaver saved my horse, so, in my eyes, it's one of the most important things to have around any stable, for sport- or leisure horses.

thanks again gary

I purchased the Equi-stim leg saver approx. 6 months ago to treat my horse who was having ongoing problems in the back and hip area. Just before receiving the product I lost my horse to a multiple fracture in his rear leg and sadly I had to have him put down. Since then I have purchased another horse (6yr old) but haven’t used the machine much, thankfully. I have treated friend’s horses, including the shoulders and rear end soreness with great success. In the last couple of weeks my horse became sore on one of his front legs, with no swelling or heat visible and therefore no easy analysis, I suspected the worst, damage to ligaments, or changes in the lower leg area etc. To cover all areas I started treating all of the lower leg including the hoof, back of pastern and the cannon bone, for about 1 ½ to 2 hrs a day. After only a couple of days I was getting reports that he was full of life and even cheeky in the paddock and after a week I found him completely sound and floating around on the lunge like he was before, I was amazed at the quick results. I knew the Equi-Stim Leg Saver would help but I didn’t expect such quick results. Now I am incredibly confident in telling people this product is amazing now that I have my own story to tell. Previously this would have been about a $500 cost of vets, X-rays, ultrasounds and probably to be told he needs paddock rest. Now only a week later we can get back out in the arena and continue where we left off. Thankyou so much!

Amalie and Jarrah!

Greetings from the Stifle Queen of Ohio JAMIE BABB.

For the past 7 years I have been operating a horse rehabilitation business in the State of Ohio using the amazing EQUI-STIM LEG SAVER.  The results have been so outstanding in treating the Stifle and many other ailments that plague the Athletic Horse I had to respond.  It has been so gratifying to see happy horses, owners and trainers after only a couple of treatments.  Horse owners and trainers can save so much money and have healthier horses by using the LEG SAVER.

Having worked on well over 1000 Amish Buggy horses (mainly Standardbreds retired from the local track).  I have treated many stifles with a success rate of over 90% completely rehabilitated.  Seeing these lame horses suffering so much bought tears to my eyes.  So it was very rewarding after a few days of treatment to see them bucking and squealing and on their way to full recovery.

I have had great success in treating hocks, tendons, hoofs, rear muscle soreness and much more.

I am not a computer person so I have had someone else post this on the Internet.  I also do not have the time as I am treating horse most of the time.
